Quick guide to the calculator

This simple calculator helps you check results, chain operations and save time on exercises. It supports decimals, history and memory to reuse a result.

Order of operations is applied automatically: parentheses first, then multiplication and division before addition and subtraction.

  • Operations: +, −, ×, ÷.
  • Decimals: use a period for precise results.
  • Keyboard: digits, operators, Enter for "=", Escape to clear.

Memory, history and clear

Memory holds one intermediate result between calculations.

  • M+ adds the display to memory, M− subtracts.
  • MR recalls the stored value, MC clears it.
  • C clears the input, AC clears all.

History shows your steps and helps find errors.

Quick examples

Addition: 12 + 34 = 46.

Multiplication: 7 × 8 = 56.

Division: 144 ÷ 12 = 12.

Decimals: 7.5 + 2.3 = 9.8.

Order of operations: 2 + 3 × 4 = 14, (2 + 3) × 4 = 20.
